TAFANELLI (TAFA) is a story whispered in the rustle of the maquis and the breath of the wind over the high mountains of the Island of Beauty. More than just a name, it is a legacy, an invisible thread connecting the ancient stones of Petreto-Bicchisano to the peaks of Montemaggiore, a profound bond that traverses the ages and unites souls.

My mother, a child of these lands, was the beating heart of this story. Originally from Petreto-Bicchisano and Montemaggiore, she left us far too soon, leaving behind the echo of her strength and her unconditional love for this island. TAFANELLI bears her name, her memory, her essence. It is from this tribute that the brand drew its inspiration, between the deep roots of our family and the modernity of our outlook.

Here, in the Balagne region, we reconnect with our cousins between Zilia and Lunghignano, a network woven like the threads of a single destiny. The TAFANELLI story is that of a clan, of a community moving forward together, driven by a common dream: to create and innovate without ever betraying its authenticity.

The brand’s adventure began in the midst of a storm, at the heart of a crisis that redefined the world. As the COVID-19 pandemic struck, TAFANELLI took its first steps by manufacturing raincoats before joining the #ProtègeTonSoignant collective, donating the profits from the sales of its first iconic t-shirt: the QUARANTINOS. A symbol, a promise.

Since then, TAFANELLI has lived between the maquis and the wild rivers, in the shade of the holm oaks and under the light of the Corsican sun. We have chosen a sleek yet powerful design, timeless creations where each piece tells a story—that of a land and those who bring it to life.

Our journey led us to the Institut Français de la Mode, and then to the offices of LVMH, where we refined our vision and expertise. We were honored with the Ami Paris prize and were subsequently laureates of the Ministry of Culture, a precious recognition that strengthens our commitment and our ambition.

We do not follow a trend. We embody a state of mind, a vision rooted in the soul of Corsica.

Every season, we move to the rhythm of the elements, in osmosis with our environment. We work as a family, with our team, just as our ancestors did, with respect for craftsmanship and the pride of those who build on rock. This is not fashion; it is a philosophy.

TAFANELLI is a rebirth. A transmission. A promise to those who left too soon and a future for those who still walk these lands.
